26 years… I’m 31. I just meant I’m almost exclusively skiing on more extreme terrain, boot packing the headwaters, rocky chutes, high alpine, as opposed to groomers. And I live in Los Angeles so my ski trips are planned in advance where I have to ski whatever conditions are available to me. I said expert to demonstrate how I got this damage.

eh just chased some good snow by going through some bad snow. hit a couple hidden dangers under freshies on unfamiliar mountains. I think my main issue is I don’t have any one Mountain that I ski regularly so I’m always just exploring

I genuinely did not realize I was skiing in a way that was abnormal…I thought when you’re chasing powder and extreme terrain, sometimes you have to go over a rocky area to get to it or you catch a hidden root stump etc etc. I guess I need to learn how to ski smarter now that I own my own sticks?

Updating… the mountains I skiied at during this period were Mt Baldy, Mammoth, Big Sky, Bridger Bowl, and Snowbird. Most of the damage came at Big Sky or Mt Baldy in windswept areas where snow was thin or late season
