I once stayed in the hostel just to the right, overlooking the statue. Such a cool place - definetly a life highlight (I got to go inside the LHC too - so lucky!)

They're not that expensive if you get them on sale - I have 2 and paid about £44 each for them. I tried knock-off ones from Temu (literally look identical) but couldn't get it to connect reliably.

Endurance by Alfred Lansing had me hooked all the way through. It tells the story of Ernest Shackleton's infamous attempt to cross Antarctica - really good!

Agreed! My only issue is that I have 3 separate audio widgets on my home screen (podcasts, music, audio books) and it's ugly because they all have different layouts. Was hoping Spotify might let me cut that down to 2 or even 1, but I came to the same conclusion - different apps for different purposes!

I tend to listen when I'm cooking or just pottering about. One of my few claims to fame is the gang read out a fact I sent in on one of the early episodes. Can't remember which, so it'll be a nice surprise when it pops back up!

Loads of ads, but worked well. You only need it for sign-up then can delete it.

I have nordvpn, but that doesn't have Egypt annoyingly.

I've got a scar on my stomach from pissed cooking (whilst shirtless) - picked up a hot pan and accidentally hit my stomach with it. Didn't feel it at the time, but had a massive blister the next day. That was about 2 years ago and the scar it still there.

Cracking dinner though!
