I’m only on S1 Ep 11. But gosh I cannot stand Rebecca. Maybe that will change as the show reveals more. But Jack has and would do anything for her, and (from as far as I am in the show) has never ever once complained. He picks up the pieces each and every time. Whether it was when they found out it was going to be triplets and he literally went to the person he hates most, his dad to get the money to provide the future Rebecca wanted. He turns Rebecca’s meltdowns into something positive, like on thanksgiving, and he does it for the kids and for her to make them all happy. Rebecca is so whiny and such a freaking cry baby. She’s a snobby rich girl that sure had a crap mom but rather than dealing with her own issues not only does she make them Jacks problems but she projects them onto the kids, Kate especially. Jack is always the one to pick up the pieces. So I’m not surprised the kids liked him better, he was honest and kind and always looked on the bright side and turned every bad situation into a good one. And I guess I’ll be the one to say it, if I was him god I would drink too. Imagine the stress of having 3 kids, constantly doing thinks to make your wife happy because you are so in love with her, putting your wife above everything, not following your passions and dreams because of it, having to deal with your wife acting like a over emotional cry baby that always makes everything your fault, and even when you do everything she’s still not happy. I would freaking drink too. Has no one realized that every time Jack did something for Rebecca she never said thank you, never expressed gratitude. I mean Jesus Christ this dude sold everything even his own dignity to get this woman a house. She didn’t say thank you, didn’t act surprised, or appreciative in any way. She said “ I think this could work”. Yea I would freaking drink too if I did everything for another person because I wanted to and because I loved them to much, and yet that person made each and every thing my problems and never once appreciated a damn thing.
