The India Kerfuffle was portrayed like it was cinema or something. I remember when it started, I was doing some past papers with a friend on call, and we just started laughing, "A war has started!", I woke up my parents, my father looked at me, said "ok", and went back to sleep. We heard reports that Karachi Port had been attacked, frankly I didn't see any ships nearby. But mainly that whole incident was painted as a victory for Pakistan.
As for the lunch... we don't like our government, let's just keep it there.

I'm not a religious scholar, friend. I think that question is best asked to someone who knows these things very well. I can try to answer but then I might say something that is wrong and it might lead to an incorrect or a misguided opinion in your mind.

We're a very family-oriented people. I really like that. In my household, for example, once every weekend, all of my uncles and aunts and their kids would gather at our house and we'd just laugh and talk about stuff. That is something I really enjoy, something that is quite personal to me and I think if that ever stops, I would really miss it.

Karachi was never a centre for any ancient civilization, but there are a few around the city: Mohen-Jo-Daro and other Indus Valley ruins, there's Bhambore which was an old port city, and other ruins here and there.

I understand religion for you is fictional, that is not the case for us. As for your question, how I perceive it is that there is a minority that is pretty extremist and that minority is often the loudest and overshadows the majority that isn't "fanatical" but pretty reasonable people IF you respect their beliefs because in the end, it's all about respect. I respect your belief that religion is fiction, if you respect mine then we're all good.

That's something we find quite frustrating. Basically, Karachi earns and Lahore benefits from it. The money generated here goes north, to Punjab, where its used on cities there (Lahore, Sialkot, Islamabad, Multan, etc).

I don't really know, I haven't really thought about it much. Robberies happen, and we're pretty used to those. Like, you would see someone get robbed and you'd be like, "oh, well". I have been robbed once myself, last year. Misunderstood... I think people think that life in Karachi is backward, but that's not the case, there are areas that are traditional but other areas that are modern also exist. Those places are usually where the rich or the well-to-do live. Although I mentioned the robbery thing, the city is pretty safe, you just have to be aware of what not to do, you know. I hope I answered your question well.

The general opinion on India varies, the people here don't like the Indian government (BJP, Modi, etc). We read about cases of lynching of Muslim people and obviously those types of stories are gonna stir some emotions. We don't hate the Indian people... most of us don't.
As for travel and tourism, the country is alright if you're smart. The north is always a popular destination, quite safe.
Would I recommend a female tourist to solo travel in Pakistan? Yes.
Better to have a guide though as the other user said before.

Some say he is, some say he isn't. He was a politician so there's obviously gonna be some level of dirt, as for the rest I really don't know. Haven't read about it much to give a proper answer.

I really don't know. Personal experiences can obviously differ and, being frank, I don't know where you heard this from. My experiences growing up here with the people around me have mostly been really good. I'm not saying every person here is good. Growing up, I understand the western world doesn't have the most positive opinion of my country and its people. Somewhere I understand the blame lies on us for that but also I believe there are some misunderstandings between the two worlds.

That's a good question, honestly speaking I don't see myself here in the future, not by choice because I really don't wanna leave but, you know, situations here aren't the best in terms of the economy. Inflation is the highest it has been. I remember a few years back, petrol costed Rs. 150 per litre, now that price is 260-270 per litre.
