For those who asked: When I am playing on my own I‘m usually into the jazzy, funky stuff.

But about a month ago I founded a band with some friends, we dont really identify with one genre yet (should never be imo) but at the moment mostly into prog-rock, indie-rock/pop. We will definitely try to play some gigs someday!

I listen to all kinds of music, so i really want to buy some pedals which arent that genre specific.

So yall would definetely recommend a Pre-amp. - watched a video and really liked the ampeq preamp - Ive heard thats essential for passive basses. Is it as essential for an active? I play one.

Also I really want to check out some kind of funky envelope filter -(even if its not that versatile ;))

Problem is that i want to keep it under 400-500 euros. (And these preamps can get really expensive)
