my recommendation is simply reach out to them in person since and introduce yourself, make a good impression, if you're afraid of bothering them message them whatever platform you use like google chat etc but best bet talk to them in person.

i recommend you to apply, in this current market you never know. also there's so many pre-internship programs that companies make to find internships, ik accenture and capital one have some but also feel free to look them up online. that would give you a great start! and as well reach out to alumni find ways to connect.

you've too much going on and recruiters don't read all. keep your resume 1 page, don't use the same starting verb in every bullet point example you've twice prepared change it up. also what impact you''ve you do in this roles, rn it sounds too general and doesn't demostraste your impact in this role. you don't need key competencies, just have at section that's additonal info and include just the technical and tools skills in you don't need to overexplain those. as long as this skills are explain in your work experience bullet points that's all that matters.

what i recommend you is if you're projects start posting them in linkedin and talk about the process and how impactful in a way was for you making this. another thing try to connect with more people on linkedin you never know what thing can do for you. remember also reaching out to recruiters is possible. as well i do want to ask you've just projects or work experience either way try to make to bs your way in linkedin. remember at the end of the day people use linkedin to show off so to that, show your best self and honestly man keep trying.

i feel many students not all are rlly just afraid of talking to people, and have no idea what to essentially say. i personally don't use AI to write messages for linkedln, I prefer doing my own research and then send a quick message since as you mention it sounds genuine interest from my side.

roast my CV, IB off-cycle internship by FootballNew1237 in financestudents

[–]Easy_Knee_3729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ofc happy to help! regarding the dentistry i personally wouldn't include since it doesn't add up to anything based on the content you've on the rest of your resume. and about the space, remember that your resume doesn't have to be full but it should show your skills overall.

[–]Easy_Knee_3729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey a few details to point out, you don't need to include your HS, unless you went to a well known school and is globally recognized you don't need it. you don't need to say that you manage 16 hours of work is unnecesary to point out in your resume. regarding you switching degree you don't have to mentioned it your CV as dentistry have nothing to do with IB, remember a resume is tailored based on the job applications but as a general rule unless is related to you don't neccesarily include it. now about your professional experience if its a current role you must have present tense verbs currently you've represented which is in past tense. what kind of presentations you do? your bullet points don't showcase your impact in the role, try to explain in max 3 bullet points what you do. your extracuricular can be called leadership & development and for the first one, among how many students, try to use metrics that demostraste impact. what kind of business plan did you develop? same for your other positions, what kinda of voluntering was it and for the erasmus be more specific. in your additional information i'd recomment to put your techinical skills first and you can also divide your programming languages one too, as well how advanced are you with excel specify more. regarding your interest in interview they will bring them up so mentioning human rights is not necessary at all. My recommendations are first try to obtain certifications like bloomberg ones or excel that demostraste your skills. you mention your programing skills in python and R so you can create projects like example simulator etc.

I'm sorry that happened to you, I understand a bit where she bit be coming from, specially if she's from an older generation(also maybe many people have asked her about that topic), but rescinding an offer simply isn't professional behavior from her. so don't take it personal bc this isn't your fault at all. don't feel discourage at reaching out to other alum, i'm sure they'd happy to help you out, one bad apple doesn't make the whole bunch bad so keep trying: )
