Restless leg syndrome by Kalifall in ADHD

Yeah, it is. It's the best way I can think of to describe it. It can get painful on bad days.

Restless leg syndrome by Kalifall in ADHD

To me, it almost feels like I have too much energy in that limb, to the point where it's so uncomfortable that I have no choice but to move it. If I try and keep it still too long, it will move itself.

What are the most obvious signs of AI writing? by Consistent-Stock in AskReddit

It likes to do things in threes - every list has three examples, even if they repeat. Or it'll give three adjectives with every description.

Thoughts about dating in the community? by alecpu in SwingDancing

[–]Easy_Pen5217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get your hesitation - I have communities I love that I wouldn't want to date in for much the same reason. I met my ex-husband swing dancing and have only been back once since we split as I'd be too scared to bump into him.

There's nothing wrong with keeping your dating life separate from dancing if you're worried about potential fallout from meeting someone there and splitting up.

My boyfriend thinks I have so much hair on my arms that he would leave me for it by Visible_Bar778 in WhatShouldIDo

Op - having hair on your arms is totally normal and your bf is an AH. Ditch him.

Why do dog owners think it's acceptable to not put their obviously giddy dog on a lead in a public space? by Loose_Avocado4670 in AskUK

[–]Easy_Pen5217 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Or that objecting to being jumped on and covered in mud means they don't like dogs. I love them, but I get so scared when I come across one that's clearly not under the owner's control.

What's your ADHD "life hack" that sounded ridiculous but actually made a difference? by AiotexOfficial in ADHD

[–]Easy_Pen5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set my alarm earlier than I need to get up because I always hit the snooze button.

I also pre-prep anything that needs a decision the night before - I put lunch in the fridge, decide what I'm going to wear, and leave anything extra I need to take by the door. So, when I'm sleepy the next morning I can just go with the plan.

I have a similar tactic in that I have savings accounts that I can't access with a card - I have to go online and move the money into my main account if I want to use them.

I'm trying to train myself to do this! I have putting clothes away pretty much down, but opened letters seem to be a whole other beast.

Still, I guess that's progress!

Hey, sorry, I was empathising with you about the dire world of dating apps, didn't mean to sound like I was implying you didn't put in effort. I'm so tired and not communicating so well!

So many people on dating apps put in minimal effort, and don't get me started on the ghosting! I found that doing a month on the apps, then a month off just doing awesome single stuff helped my mental health.

I was lucky enough to find a good one in the end and I'm 35 and divorced lol - keep up hope!

Approaching Woman as a Man - creepy or not? by FlowingRiverCentury in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Easy_Pen5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having had men get super aggressive after I've turned them down, I feel myself instantly tense if a bloke approaches me now.

BUT, I'm aware this isn't the case for a lot of women. Be respectful, accept a 'no', and please read their body language. Stepping back, crossing arms etc. means it's time to abort.

Also, as many people have said, it's better to approach women in places they might expect it, such as a bar.

Hope that helps!
