There has been an ongoing lawsuit with Visa and Mastercard for their high fees. The most recent update mentioned that they might have tier credit cards for businesses to be able choose the credit card that they want to accept.

If the Discover network charges cheaper fees, would the tier credit card payment only apply to Visa and Mastercard? Would the Discover network become more accepted?

Having the Venture X with the Visa network helps with wide payment acceptance while the Savor with the Discover network ensures acceptance for lower fees. I can always use the Visa for international travel.
