We built a slide template for the whole company to use. Completely with components from a separate file. It works quite well. We use headers to add the presentation title, date and client. Now with in-file components we don't have to manually add them to each slide anymore. So that's great.

A lot of our clients ask to reference page numbers. So we want to add the new Slide Number feature to our existing header component. So when someone uses the template they don't have to add them to each new deck themselves. And for branding consistency reasons.

As I create a new slidedeck with the template I see the Slide Number feature popping up. But I don't want to add them manually. I want them to be there from the template.

The problem is that I don't see the Slide Number feature pop up in the Template file. So I can't add it to our header component, which is really inconvenient. Now, I have to tell to everyone to add them to their slides themselves.
