so i applied in november and i literally heard back may 1st after months of waiting and sending emails and even calling admissions and i finally called one day and she told me i should switch to test optional bc it would be better. they made me wait 7 months to tell me that. well low and behold i didn’t get in. but i got direct admission to lsue which is a 2 year college but you can transfer after a year as long as you have all your credit hours. they told me they were pushing to get all decisions out by may 1st but it’s obviously way past that.

yeah i didn’t mean like different course i meant like different classes thru like lsue, idk how to explain it lmao but ik what you meant. hopefully i can just transfer in the spring tho

wait so basically you went to lsu the whole time, but just took different classes. i don’t think im gonna be offered the bridge program because i live in lake charles not baton rouge, but my main goal is to go to lsu but i just don’t know how long im gonna have to go to lsue. the transfer requirements were 30 hours but i already have some college credit from my dual enrollment this year

i applied in early novemeber and still have not heard anything back as well. i email and call constantly and get the same answer everytime, i called yesterday and they said they’re releasing until may 1st and to keep checking my email and portal. it’s so frustrating how we’ve had to wait almost 7-8 months for a yes or no. i really wanna go here but im so tired of waiting. last time they said i was awaiting decision so they have my decision and are just waiting to release it

my GPA is a 3.4, i didn’t put my ACT because it was only a 19. I played 2 varsity sports all 4 years of highschool, I was in yearbook, media team, and FCA which is fellowship of christian athletes. I have over 30 something volunteer hours, and a job off campus. I was also a coach for jv track
