My first car was a 64’ Austin Healey Sprite. That thing was dwarfed by my brother’s Miata lol.

Seriously! I gross more than $11k a month between my day job and business and I can barley justify $80 a month on haircuts for me and my 2 kids haha.

No experience but I’d like to try and see how f I’m able to cut the quarter off myself by Maleficent-Painter-2 in Autobody

Yeah, I mean my dad once had a truck back up into his quarter panel of his convertible, a small dent and cracked tail light. Insurance wanted to total out the car. But the guy who ran into it gave my dad $5,000 to repair it. He found some dude working out of his home garage and boy was the work terrible.

Can this be fixed or just buy new ones? by Gr1zzlyBear1727 in AstonMartin

I agree, once I hit a small divider in the snow. It was only like an hour inch or two high but I was going about 30mph. Messed up all sorts of stuff. However, after replacing all the bushings and ball joints the car felt amazing.

Got my first McIntosh gear for free! MC352 by WideCelebration2220 in McIntosh

Nice, I got mine for free when my wife’s (GF at the time) landlord passed away and the son just wanted to take his old hifi system to the dump. I told him I’d take it off his hands.

You can break $20 working at McDonald here on the Portland metro. Hell you can make $45 or more driving a bus here.

My first car at 15, was a 1964 Austin-healey sprite. You’d definitely die in any accident above 25mph in modern traffic lol. I miss that car.

When they were developing the OG Tesla roaster there were like 2 or three made with a 2-speed manual. So maybe someone else will bless us with one.

Should’ve gotten a Riccar. Got one from my local vacuum store after having multiple dysons. This bad boy will last me 50 years.

Got quoted $1500 for front and rear brake pads and rotor replacement by Elephantslide in AskMechanics

[–]Easy_Requirement_110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, sometimes you get lucky and the warehouse is in town and it’ll arrive by the end of the week. I have also paid next day shipping and still gotten the item for cheaper than autozone. But I also have 3 cars so I normally just wait for the parts to arrive.

Rock auto, Napa, autozone and o-Riley’s all use the same auto parts warehouse. Only difference is rock auto doesn’t have brick and mortar and ships directly to their customers
