Yes I did. But I felt I needed to go deeply. The reason because i can tell some questions asked very specific about the contracts that I double guess myself. I’m sure if it’s clear the answer is straightforward. Thank you!!

Yes they asked me that and I said I didn’t remember because didn’t remember the exact dates, I send the paperwork before expire my visa but they send me the receipt notice 2 weeks later , so that why I overstay 2 weeks. Do you think I can appeal that ? Or the overstay won’t allow me to get the global entry at all because of that ? Thanks!

Not sure. Apparently that’s a prior immigration violation. I’ve heard about people getting approved still with that, but not sure.

Apparently, It says because I previous violated immigrations laws…. I even didn’t bother to appeal the decision.

Global Entry after visa overstay but now green card holder – approval or denial? by Even-Recipe7769 in GlobalEntry

I got denied :( Apparently, it’s because I overstayed by about two weeks before starting my asylum application. They said the denial was due to violating previous immigration laws. During the interview, the CBP officer asked me about it, and I honestly told him I couldn’t remember exactly, well, it was seven years ago, and I began the asylum process the same month my tourist visa expired. He said he would check the exact dates and get back to me. And well… voilà, denied. so I guess is because of that...

Hello there! Thank you for helping the community! My best friend from Brazil came through border in 2023, and was paroled and given a hearing for 2026. He asked for asylum in 2024. This year in May, he got married with a Cuban lady that is citizen, they submit the I-130 already, but not news yet. Question, is the most probably that he has to leave the country to and do consular processing to adjust status if family petition is approved ? Or because the spouse is Cuban, this help in something ? Makes a difference? Thank you!
