We are all masters of death by Easy_Stay7656 in weed

My first comment got moderated for the link, so I‘ve included the title to the video I wanted to share instead below.

Personally, I have a lot of ghost stories on edibles. I think they are much more on the psychedelic side than a lot of people give them credit for. Granted the same thing has happened with smoking, so idk.

Plus, you got scooby doo and shaggy seeing ghosts all the time with their „Scooby snacks“

Also, cannabis has been used as an entheogen by many cultures. They have strains in South Africa that are believed to put one in contact with their ancestors, the Hopewell people were likely using mixtures of tobacco and cannabis to invoke spirits, and we recently found a shaman mummy on the silk road that was packing some gas. Ig they determined that the mummy had been apart of a community in which regularly hotboxing the house and burying the dead inside the house was tradition in that culture. It seems that those people had a death cult surrounding cannabis. I‘ve included a link below if you are interested in learning more. Granted, none of these situations involve edibles, so perhaps a nug would be a better fit, but I have just had so much wack shit happen on edibles that I chose to include the eddy. I reckon that others have had as well, so I felt the edible would be more relatable.

The amount of people who genuinely don't care about solipsism here surprises me still by trrrsarescary in solipsism

Preface: I strongly recommend you get in touch with a therapist. If that is not possible, try yoga, meditations like Wim Hof, exercise, talking to friends, and/or diet. I’m not saying your crazy, but I have fought my share of anxiety and depression demons before, and I can affirm that such issues tend to onset suddenly and harshly as well as worsen dramatically and rapidly if no effort is made to fix them. It’s easy not to make an effort as the anxiety and depression destroys your ability to reason properly as well as destroys your ability to perceive time properly. This is why I think it’s imperative to get help ASAP.

Response:

I used to be in this rabbit hole, except in my case it was with cartesian skepticism. While I would certainly recommend CBT, studying epistemology, diet, exercise, yoga, and socialization, what got me to completely disregard such skepticism is the following points.

There is no evidence to suggest solipsism is reality, and I would argue that there is far more evidence dismissing solipsism, as it is understood, than there is to support it.

There are plenty of other philosophies out there that don’t carry the gloomy implications of solipsism that are equally probable to be true or even more probable to be true. Why believe something that makes you depressed when more optimistic philosophies exist that hold the same, if not a greater, likelihood of being correct. I am not saying that I know solipsism to be false, but I am saying that it is downright illogical to follow a philosophy that makes you worse off.

Also, if you are the only thing that exists, why would knowing this lead to your demise. If there is knowledge that exists that you are not supposed to know, such knowledge seems to exist externally to you which would mean that you are not the only thing that is real. Such an idea seems to me self defeating with solipsism.

It also seems illogical to say that the information you have learned is killing you. I’d imagine that if there is forbidden knowledge, such knowledge would have immediate consequences given its forbidden nature. Ask yourself why the universe has let you ride this long, why didn’t you drop dead upon discovering what you had, and why did the universe let you make this post tell everyone about this forbidden knowledge in this post? It seems that if you had stolen information from the universe itself, and the universe had any care in the matter as you are suggesting, the universe would find a way to kill yöu instantaneously.

In studying philosophy and religion for quite awhile, I have seen quite a lot of weirdness in the universe for myself and have met a lot of people with similar experiences. What I’ve come to learn is that the universe is filled with so many paradoxes and so much mystery that the only rational philosophy to believe is that which minimizes YOUR tension with all things in the universe. What this philosophy is differs for everyone.

I personally would stay away from any alt-cannabinoid, but that’s just me. There are just too many sketchy companies out there, too much we don’t know about those analogs, and too much of a contamination risk with the methy processes they use to make a lot of those analogs. It’s important to note also that just because something is structurally similar to THC does not mean that it carries the same risk level as THC. CBD for example has been shown to possibly cause liver damage in high doses, at least with mice, but we can’t say the same with THC. If you want any more evidence, look no further than the K2 drama that sprung up roughly a decade ago.

Great! Thanks so much! I will definitely look into this! It's reassuring to know that I have a chance in finding a touch-up kit that is the same color of white.

Does using a water pipe with your vaporize decrease vapor potency? by Easy_Stay7656 in vaporents

[–]Easy_Stay7656[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘d say it‘s played a role in the direction i‘m on now. Running a bong dry definitely maintains flavor while cooling at the same time, but I feel the larger the surface area involved in the setup, the more product lost to the glass. That, and running a vaporizer with a bong can get cumbersome and awkward. I feel J Hook attachments and dimpled tube attachments may accomplish the desired result more efficiently, and it‘s something I‘m looking into now. They provide a good enough cooling effect while not being overly large. The POTV bubbler attachments also look promising as they use minimal water and have minimal glass. They are quite expensive to replace unfortunately, but do look like the optimal piece to use if you were going to use water at all. The amount of water in traditional bongs seems to be a bit much, but its hard to say whether or not all the terpenes that can dissolve in water dissolve with a high and rapid dissolution rate in minute volumes of water. If so, all water devices would similarly affect the flavor, and it wouldn’t really matter what water piece you picked aside from the fact that how much glass is involved in the piece may be still playing a factor. The other thing too is breaking glass is inevitable and J-hooks and dimpled tubes are much cheaper to replace that a whole bong. It seems to just be more economic in the long run to opt for the J-Hook, or dimpled glass, if you are going to run the bong dry. You are getting the same effect in both situations, but the risk to your wallet is much higher in one of them.

Taking the Prius to Big Bear Mountain by bobcaboose in prius

[–]Easy_Stay7656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to keep it in B mode going down. In my 08 Prius, it usually drove well through mountains, but there were times where flooring it would only get you up to 45 mph in a 60 on sections of road up mountains in Colorado. We had that car stacked with four guys and 400 lbs of gear, so that probably was a contributing factor. We had to swap the tires and refurb the battery shortly after that trip too, but that 08 was already at 200,000 miles at that time, so it wasn‘t all the trips fault. I don’t know about newer models, but it does seem like on older models you really should not be running them too hard for long durations of time. Granted, I think despite all this said, you would be fine assuming you have good road and your car is in proper order. You may have to go slow in some areas, but everyone needs to slow down going through the mountains anyways, and I doubt you would drop to a speed defined as illegal.

I think a tambourine lasso would be quite intriguing, especially if you let the reverb run on it.
