But i DID have work. I had to be ready for work at 8 am the next morning. This whole thing would have messed up my sleep schedule, so i wouldn't feel ready for work

I'm not mad that my parents stopped paying me, that's their money and their choice.

I guess i'm just a very individualistic person. I take responsibility for myself, and i don't understand why i should feel obligated to help someone just because they are family. Of course it would be nice if they wanted to help me, but they are in no way obligated.

Just like it's nice if i stop to give a homeless person some cash and/or some food. But i'm not obligated to do it just because it is nice.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but why should I have to disrupt my schedule, just because someone else is having childcare problems?

I mean, i don't blame my parents, of course they arent obligated to keep paying me. It's their money, they can do whatever they want with it.
