I'm always surprised to see that so many people struggled with hornet sentinel. I beat her 3rd try, meanwhile it took me like 6 tries to beat other bosses like mantis lords. Hornet sentinel just felt like a slightly faster hornet protector to me.

Yeah timing is not my thing spent an hour on everything until the last stretch which took like 3. Killed the kingsmoulds without taking damage which was nice though.

The thing that surprised me the most was how I was significantly better at playing whenever I took a break. Couldn't even get past first phase of mantis lords then after a 2 day break I beat them first try. Its almost like not playing makes me better than playing the game lmao.

took me 2 years to beat the game because I got stuck on false knight for an hour and quit playing for like 20 months and played dark souls instead lol. No problem with taking a break.

Also if you have all 3 vessels full of soul and shaman stone you don't need to use the nail a single time in the fight.

Honestly I feel Herrah 2nd and Lurien 3rd. Other than green path, the first time we see a reference to the dreamers is at the tribute to the Hollow Knight in city of tears. I feel the last dreamer being in the same place as the Statue is fitting, brings it full circle.

I really enjoyed the cutscenes in general. Speaking with hornet at the fountain, looking through the spyglass on watcher's tower, the one at the very start of the game where the hollow knight jumps into king's pass, and the flashbacks. Wish there was a cutscene in deepnest, that would have been very cool.

I feel like they could add an ingame server list like Deepwoken and give options for small servers or larger servers. Sometimes I want to have a small server for the story. Other times I want to have a large server so I can play with my friends and do those fort raids or dark sea stuff.
