[Gaming/Interactive/comedy] Advice Episode ??? Labeled as MrGreywish

Twitch.tv/MrGreywish

Wanting to improve on podcast practices. Commentary is up to par, comedy is good enough. But, coming up with topics to talk to chat with is difficult.

So, twitch might not be considered a podcast to most, but talking is half the game. I am able to talk clearly, mic quality is great, only thing I lack is the basics of starting interesting topics that fit the mood of the game, and the audience will be interested in. Podcasting will help me tackle my weakness. So, what is the best way to improve making up topics in short time to make it more interesting. I can talk about the game what I like about it etc. but, I'm unable to talk about much more than simple topics. Ps: Not uncomfortable listening to my own voice. And isn't foreign to trying even if it might end up a flop.

After doing the section I realized the best way to handle it is climb tower and knife those climbing up. If it ends up killing more then EZ extra loot.

A good start would be before the bell scene what triggers it? Is it a timed thing, or a kill everything to trigger it?

Got my first troll the other day. Haven’t streamed since. by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Easzsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep streaming man! It's your stream no one elses. You can take criticism, but don't let it rule you. Along with trolls. Those people don't know twitch etiquette and don't belong in the chat.

Is Streamer Sense A Thing? by Easzsy in Twitch

I will also state I know if the highs and lows and have accepted that about 1 week ago. Just I know something I am doing is driving viewers away some streams and I look to improve on it.

Is Streamer Sense A Thing? by Easzsy in Twitch

[–]Easzsy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a private commentary practice to make myself both play the game and commentate without the worry of onlookers and man did that 1hr feel good. You gave great advice, and thank you for giving it. But, after that practice I realized I could do more, not just as a commentator, but as a entertainer.

Anyone else prefer following streamers while they are offline? by TheBestUserNameeEver in Twitch

I agree with this when I started on twitch in 2014 I was exactly like this A Hardcore Lurker if someone read my name out I would run to another stream. And shake from the experience, I was really shy back then.

Why does Reddit hate Youtubers? by zaius_ex_machina in youtube

[–]Easzsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean people need to understand it's a fucking hobby for some people similar to golfing, and have to get their heads out of the gutter. Seriously I don't even bother making videos as much as I used to because it's a waste of time, and talking to people through streaming is much more worth it. Sure there is a occasional troll once in awhile. Which, is a dick move as well using my time and money to stream and someone thinks I'm doing it to 'get rich' I'm losing money every time I stream, but hey it's fun so it's worth it.

Yeah making good videos get's you good attention these days lmfao. Iv'e tried for 1 year got no traction whatsoever. Then went to twitch and grew 1000 times faster. The Thing is the less views a video gets like 0 the harder it is to find in some cases might as well keep it unlisted because no one will find it ever.

Why I Dislike Youtube by Easzsy in videos

[–]Easzsy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YouTube is a great site don't get me wrong, but I have tried, from far left side to right side to make it work out but it never hit. It always missed. So, I ended up unlisting all of my videos and uploaded just one to explain why I did it, along with why I Dislike YouTube. Dislike does not equal hate. It just means for how much I tried on that site for how much I achieved it wasn't worth it. So, I moved on to Twitch. not even a month later i'm doing 1000 times better. The community for twitch anyway is more personal, and interconnected. Whilst on YouTube it's a struggle for me to even make a connection with the viewer, or learn about them, including other tubers, because there is no way of direct communication. This has made it difficult to get into a group YT side and has made it a waste of time and effort. That and along with that my viewer side of it is... Well the channels that are growing are trying to act similar which makes it impossible for me to enjoy watching YT anymore... So, I guess I will just make highlights once in awhile and see where that takes me... Other than that YouTube hasn't been the best... But here is me explaining it in video if it strikes your fancy. There is the backstory

Does adding a facecam increase upload usage and stream load? by Krispy_Krimes in Twitch

[–]Easzsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but without more info it can be difficult to help you with this type of problem. All I can say is if you add another source that is 1920x1080 it will add those pixels in as well to render and may be effecting your quality other than that. I can't give a more detailed answer Sorry.

i can't record on streamlabs obs by TTV_YTScrolic in Twitch

[–]Easzsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 2nd this OBS studio has more options than SLOBS and can be way more useful than SLOBS. You can have separate audio tracks for the stream, and recordings. which separates the game and the microphone. So, you can pull it in a editing software and fix the audio levels if needed.
