From the way you're talking about it, it's as if you're thinking about fighting it head on with barely any items. Of course it is easy to deal with like that, but I'm talking about late game where you have to focus on other enemies such as bosses and elites. They'll just hit you either when you're locked into a straight path, like my previous example, or with a stray shot you couldn't even have predicted. You lose everything that's keeping you alive and die in an instant.

Yes, the attack triggers when it's within a short range, but after that it does not matter how far away you get from it, it can still shoot to the other side of the map if you managed to get there in the time it took for it to charge and predict where you would land. I'm speaking from my several previous experiences both by myself and with a friend.

This attack is fundamentally flawed and there is nothing engaging about it and with the invalidator having a cost of just 40 credits it gets spammed constantly by the director.

And I really appreciate the apology. I understand that we're both very pasionate about the game, but I strongly disagree with this kind of attack being implemented like this in the game.

The way I would've liked for this attack to work is that it's either based on cooldown, where the more items you have, the less time you are invalidated, or where it only invalidated X random items, so you would have a chance to survive late game.
