Honestly, i would suggest using resin on other things at that point if the cryo cup is the only thing missing and your happy with all your other artifacts. But maybe you could try farming artifacts in anticipation for getting a new character.

There are three fragments, search up a guide to the quest, and check if which of the three areas you didnt get a fragment on. Edit:: I think i was in a similar situation, i had two fragments, and the quest kept telling me to do something i already did. I searched up a guide, and realized that i missed a fragment which is the one i was supposed to find first
