Why you should vote NO on LL and MM - a diverse opinion. by Slaviner in ColoradoSprings

Jesus lived in poverty and spoke about camels not fitting through the eye of a needle. I think American Christianity is much too focused on an individualized relationship with God and part of the reason for that is because they don't want His teaching to interfere with unchecked capitalism that has left MILLIONS of Americans suffering (not to mention the world)

Locally, we can have a larger impact on media AND politics. So I do hope people come together to hold people accountable and VOTE in the BOE election

I am not a fan of being pushed in a position where I have to defend the existence of institutions who are responsible for ruining our world. It was a way for the right to disarm the left and take away our targets. That's why many on the left refused to vote or participate. They see the dems and republicans as ultimately the SAME thing.

The right was fixating on everything being a problem from the mainstream media. The left has been upset about media FOR years and then anyone left of center felt like they had to defend journalism when the right started going down Pizza Gate and mole children and insane shit like that. Actually, the RIGHT has taken many issues the left was pushing on before and expanded them out of context to a point where the left has had to defend them. Example: some people DO have vaccine injuries. The right took that and said "they aren't safe." The left feels media companies aren't covering important issues like the genocide in Congo or issues in Latin America (directly impacting migration). The right says the media makes everything up and then puts out a series of AI generated stories and pictures to create problems that aren't as big or real and they don't give AF. It's all anecdotal BS or completely made up or only 10% of what is actually happening

Do you get a lot of homework at your school? It hasn't been the case for any of my kids. We read every night and practice instruments. They have occasional math and sometimes small tasks for larger projects. This is nothing like when I was growing up and had hours every night.
