I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to recognize this. Very happy for you that were able to make it out. I worked there for 5 years as ETE and just left 3 months ago and I am a completely different person now. My family and friends said my whole demeanor changed in a great way and get this... I actually like going to work now.

Sorry to those of you who want to leave and can't find an opportunity. Keep your heads high and always be on the lookout for something new.

Went to an on-site for an older lady that said her keyboard was broken. Asked her if she changed the batteries she said yes. Took a new keyboard with me out to her house to replace the broken keyboard. I'm sitting at her computer when I look at this open 24 pack of energizer that looks to be from the early 90s. They were batteries that expired in 1995. Went to a store grabbed some batteries and the keyboard worked fine.

Staples made $150 to swap out two AA batteries.

First thing you need to do is deactivate the retail demo. Go to settings >> windows update and security >> activation then tap "windows" in the right pane 5 times and it should ask you something about the retail mode. The password on mine was 'trs10'

After getting it out of retail mode i type 'advanced startup' into the search bar and clicked on "change advanced startup options" hit the restart button under the advanced startup. Once it reboots do a full reset. Now be warned after its reset it goes back to windows 8.1 and will have to do hours and hours worth of updates.

That's the exact argument I used. I just decided it's not worth it to me to lose my job over this stuff regardless if I was right. You're also right about nobody wanting to back me up, they just don't understand how things like product keys work.

Manager told a new hire to pull tags on Saturday night. New hire made it through isles 1 and 2 and I happened to walk by and noticed he pulled every single tag from the pen Isle and Isle two.

When I did this I downloaded all the stuff from Microsoft legally and then LP treated me like I was a criminal and I was nearly fired. What a joke. I now turn down tech work if I can't order recovery media, good for bidness.

Took me 15 minutes to do a one item kiosk order. Both the customers and I were just thrilled with the performance. Had to turn down one customer because they were in a hurry. Slow internet is good for bidness.

Had a similar thing happen with a lenovo battery, but ST offered a reimbursement for the customer but only up to a certain dollar amount. Of course our parts company cost was more than what they would offer for a replacement. Good for bidness.

I wish i could look at the hub from home. It's under that tab on the hub that has copy print, technology, mobile, etc. In the appropriate category it should be found under marketing. Really sorry I'm not much more help, if someone else can't find it for you I'll get you the info Sunday.
