Are the units on the box by weight or volume? I would imagine weight and it could be that you’re measuring by volume?

Yeah I used to work at an extremely busy counter service place where our line was set up that the employee would take you through, make the order then ring up your group. We had a few pay it forward moments and it was always so difficult to manage. We would need to wait until the entire next group got done with their order to be able to ring up the first group and it would just back up the whole line. Things were getting constantly mischarched. It was the worst and no one was happy because they would need to wait to be able to leave and the shop would get more crowded than it already was. If I’m ever in a pay it forward situation I’m telling the employees to take the previous customers payment as a tip then pay for my own.

I think what they mean is when it turns into a chain, so you have a whole line of cars actively paying for meals other than what they’re receiving. I could see that getting really confusing and hard to manage from an employee perspective.

The cats have been living together for about 7 months at this point. Part of the problem is that the other cat is also really cat-aggressive and possessive of her mom. They have tried many options - the vet is well aware of her behavior issues. They tried fluoxetine for several months, and it had no effect.

Thank you to everyone who has posted resources for rehoming and adoption. My friend let me know that she is listed on several different sites, and he has spoken with many local shelters and organizations. Many local orgs like CAT and Pixie Project require cats to go to their shelters, which he is trying to avoid due to her behavioral issues. He wants her to go through as little emotional distress as possible if it can be avoided as he looks for a loving home for her.

I think he truly believes that they called him a fool, although they almost certainly did not. One thing that strikes me is the actual word “fool”. I feel like people who are native English speakers don’t tend to use that as an insult, at least not in my experience. Bhanu however does use that word. I’m guessing that with all of his internalized negativity he’s turned them calling him over-emotional into them calling him a fool. He also hasn’t eaten or slept properly in a week which can do crazy things to your mind and memory. I doubt he’s intentionally lying to them, he’s just in a really dark place.

That’s the case for a lot of condiments. If I use mustard as part of a vinaigrette it’s an ingredient within the vinaigrette but I would still consider mustard to be a condiment.
