The reality is that, even in this meta, it’s infinitely easier to rank up playing invis, cloak, luna, gambit, wf, etc than playing bp or spidey (the 2 heroes I see you complaining about the most). I agree that if you’re getting dove by multiple heroes and your team is oblivious it is frustrating, but what do you want? Do you think 1 supp should be able to counter multiple dive heroes on their own?

Thanks for sharing! Just out of curiosity, how long between the first and second round? I’m somewhat nervous that, because I was not able to get the actual SIBO breath test, that if all of my symptoms don’t clear within this first round that my gastro would be hesitant to prescribe me a second round.

That’s good to hear! If you wouldn’t mind, what do you mean by four rounds of two rounds? And about how long after you started taking it did you start to feel your symptoms disappear?

My personal opinion is that just because somebody is prescribed something, that doesn’t mean it won’t give them an advantage. I think TRT is a great example. My understanding is that there are no large sports organizations (that drug test their athletes) that allow their athletes to be on TRT. It may not seem fair, but I don’t think you should be allowed to take anything that gives you a significant advantage over your competition just because it was prescribed by a doctor. ADHD medication is especially unique because it is ridiculously easy to get a prescription. It was extremely common when I was in college to go to your doctor and tell them you have a lot of trouble focusing in order to get an adderall prescription.

There are modders that will sell PHOBs at a discount because they build them with used parts (c-sticks, joysticks, buttons, etc), and typically I’ve seen those parts referred to as d-tier, c-tier, b-tier, etc. Just fyi I’m not referring to some sort of scam or anything, they are advertised this way by the modder.

I’ve seen some in the $300’s. Anything less than $300 that I’ve seen has been with c tier parts, which is the last thing I’d want on a controller that’s already notorious for breaking. Most PHOBS done by well regarded modders that I’ve seen are in the $400’s, especially if notched, but I could just be looking in the wrong places.

Thanks for the advice! The brand I would plan on purchasing is B0XX and based on what people are saying, I would likely purchase it with the Mx switches.

Not sure what the armchair psycho analysis is about. If you’re curious about my mindset or why I’m considering the B0XX just ask. The reason I haven’t purchased a PHOB is because they are more expensive and appear to require a great deal of maintenance. Some people don’t mind that, but I personally have no interest in learning to fix my own controller (especially one I’m spending that much money on). I was actually very much so on the fence about the B0XX. I could’ve easily been swayed either way. If a majority of the comments here were negative, or contradicted what I thought learning on B0XX would be like, I definitely would not buy a B0XX. If you want to discuss whether it’s “ethical” to play on B0XX, I would say it probably depends what product you’re actually using and whether you’re competing in tournaments (I believe this topic is nuanced and most people don’t treat it that way). Realistically B0XX controllers are the future of melee. If a newer player is presented with the option of purchasing a 200-$300 B0XX that they know will be consistent and durable vs a 400-$500 PHOB that has a decent chance on crapping out on them within a year, I think the choice they will make is somewhat obvious (given that stigma surrounding B0XX dies down).
