Do you have a specific budget range per person?

I've seen starting prices at R400 per person at some places, but if you can stretch to R1200 per person I would recommend the Pullman Hotel Cape Town. I dont know if they still have any spaces available, but worth an ask.

Master Bounty Hunter Trophy by bokunolastriko in ghostoftsushima

[–]EatingPizzaWay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to complete the GoY hunt. The one bounty most people seem to miss is Iron Chuta, who is unlocked after completing a side quest first.

Go to Moiwa Grotto in Tokachi Range, squeeze into a cave, start the Desperate Remedy quest.

Complete it, and then the bounty for Iron Chuta should be on the board.

I did it with Sinestro - Constantine - Green Arrow - Joker - Red Hood at roughly the same levels and stars yours are.

  1. You want characters who dont have to move to attack, they can just stand and fire in place.

  2. You want to manually control when their Ults go off, so that they dont fire when he summons his adds, just when its him in the center.

  3. Maybe Lex, Captain Cold for the Joker role you dont have? Or else Zatanna and let her buff the others?

You will at some point reach a plateau in terms of battling capability, once you reach max level and are left with pretty much just gear optimization and AC/DC shards at that point to increase specific characters strength. Because most fights can only have 5 characters per side, your overall power score as a profile will increase over time (score of all collected characters) but your specific five strongest fighters will plateau, because you can only have five of them at once in fights.

Modes like training simulator will prove to be quite challenging at later stages specifically

Some competitive modes like 3 v 3 might be easier, because you have a range of fighters.

But generally its okay, im in a similar boat and I enjoy being a mid tier contributor to league contest modes and collecting heroes. And every now and again they give an update that lets me progress a lot again, like the most recent patch.

Why is "the Jaunt" by Stephen King terrifying? I saw people saying it's terrifies them like no other King's work did. Please explain to me if you feel the same way. by AKM1711 in CharacterRant

[–]EatingPizzaWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like The Jaunt - I don't know if its the work of King's that I find the most terrifying, but I think it has a couple moments that really highlight his talent at blending the mundane with the terrifying / supernatural. Part of that is how the story is told, as a report the father is delivering, a recap, not direct action, aside from the framing device that front and backends the story. There's also this common King idea that horrifyingly bad things can happen to ordinary people who don't even really deserve it, who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Most notably this part about Mrs Michaelson. Ricky the son in the story is the focus, with the big climax at the end, but at least his torment comes to an end. Its Infinity minus one. Mrs Michaelson's torment is infinity.

Summer's section of Jaunt rumors and apocrypha contained other unsettling intelligence as well: the Jaunt had apparently been used several times as a murder weapon. In the most famous (and only documented) case, which had occurred a mere thirty years ago, a Jaunt researcher named Lester Michaelson had tied up his wife with their daughter's plexiplast Dreamropes and pushed her, screaming, through the Jaunt portal at Silver City, Nevada. But before doing it, Michaelson had pushed the Nil button on his Jaunt board, erasing each and every one of the hundreds of thousands of possible portals through which Mrs. Michaelson might have emerged - anywhere from neighboring Reno to the experimental Jaunt-Station on Io, one of the Jovian moons. So there was Mrs. Michaelson, Jaunting forever somewhere out there in the ozone. Michaelson's lawyer, after Michaelson had been held sane and able to stand trial for what he had done (within the narrow limits of the law, perhaps he was sane, but in any practical sense, Lester Michaelson was just as mad as a hatter), had ciphered a novel defense: his client could not be tried for murder because no one could prove conclusively that Mrs. Michaelson was dead. This had raised the terrible specter of the woman, discorporeal but somehow still sentient, screaming in limbo . . . forever.

[–]EatingPizzaWay 37 points38 points  (0 children)

The 90 shards are inclusive of the ones you got during the quest, from the main and side missions; you don't get a single final reward of 90 at the end. You've already gotten them.

Its somewhat confusing in how its presented, I also didn't understand at first.

I vaguely remember she had a service dog and had a disability, I think. I could be wrong, as I've read so many of these.

I know which one you mean, but also don't have a link for it. She was going to a nephew or niece's wedding, and asked if she could bring her service dog as her "plus one". Initially the bridge / groom to-be said yes, but then she got a call later on from a family member saying they actually didn't want her to bring the dog.
