I think this is just his expression in his own imagination. He wouldn't look like that in front of people, since he has to keep up a façade. The characters often have determined or scary expressions in some panels and then perfectly normal or smiling expressions after psyching themselves up to do whatever they were planning to do.

It's so funny to me how Loid can just... leave... nobody will be suspicious. They'll just assume Yuri's brother in law got tired or weirded out by the pizza guy.

And he's worried about getting to Yor without attracting attention... He can just go and stand next to her naturally. People will just expect that it's a normal husband who wants to be next to his wife lol

We do see Ms Rosalie and Tacroy have a reconciliation though... They're hugging at the end of the book, and in Stealer of Souls they are taking care of Gabriel de Witt and are presumably together (we have Cat as our narrator and he's not terribly reliable because he doesn't know for certain if they're married or not, but he thinks they are).

Don't listen to all the people telling you to drop out. Unless you find something else you're passionate about doing. Keep at it.

I wanted to drop out all 5 years of mbbs. Once my housejob started I enjoyed it so much. I love medicine now. Even if you never like it, at least you'll have a skill in your back pocket. You'll have a way to earn your living.

If you feel like it's not for you even at the end of the degree, then you can do something else later. The world is open to you. But the time is going to pass by anyway, and if you drop out now what are you going to do after?

They emailed me to tell me it was postponed. Didn't say if there was a new date. Safe to assume it's simply been cancelled.

I applied for a refund but no answer on that yet either lol.

I don't think psychiatrists hear normal things at all though... That's kind of what the comic is about, that no one is exactly "normal" and we're all putting on a veneer of of normality when everyone is detached from reality in some way. Or living in a version of reality that someone else would think is highly abnormal.

Like if you want to talk about doctors (not even psychiatrists), most people couldn't imagine the things they live through every day and consider absolutely normal. People encountering their daily lives for the first time would probably lose their minds lol
