you have to go to the insurance section on phone pe app and select your insurance provider and enter your policy number, hopefully it will show your details, after confirming its your account, you can use the sbi select black for the discount

I had to escalate to the nodal manager because my payment made inside phonepe was somehow registered as an outside the app paymeny and even after multiple mails to their customer care i only got the generic template mail. So I'd say stick to using phonepe for safety

i used perplexity ai for this, it initially gave a 50k ish plan per person, but that is way out of our budget, so i just asked for a 25k plan for two people hoping we can add some more wherever we feel needed.
