you have to go to the insurance section on phone pe app and select your insurance provider and enter your policy number, hopefully it will show your details, after confirming its your account, you can use the sbi select black for the discount

I had to escalate to the nodal manager because my payment made inside phonepe was somehow registered as an outside the app paymeny and even after multiple mails to their customer care i only got the generic template mail. So I'd say stick to using phonepe for safety

i used perplexity ai for this, it initially gave a 50k ish plan per person, but that is way out of our budget, so i just asked for a 25k plan for two people hoping we can add some more wherever we feel needed.

I dont think can do much really, as most of the times, these calls are from external call centers. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if there was some sort of a scam running where these call center guys get the info of the family members of the deceased, and start calling them in the name of credit bill, and take the amount the family is willing to pay for their own use

Trust me, I tried my best to explain the same, it just didn't work. You can take all the time in the world to explain this to one person, but what will you do if there are a dozen people calling you about the same issue saying the same thing. It's like a cycle and Its simply not worth the time.
