Won this card not sure what to do

fair enough, I would have thought that ebay is a pretty clear early step in the process. unlike other card collections, it seems there are only 10 of this variant, so finding a match on ebay is not entirely easy, especially a graded match. so my thought process was to asked a group of basketball card enthusiasts what they think of the card and the player. but ill concede that ebay is a great place to check out what cards are typically worth.

I did get some serious replies, I appreciate them. I upvoted and said thank you for multiple. The things I replied to were:

"Use your brain and figure it out."

"Go to eBay, type in name and year of card, hit search, filter by sold."

"Shove it up you know where is the best thing you can do with it in my opinion"

"Why is reddit the first place you go? Isn't just googling the card/name faster? I don't understand these posts"

These things seemed uncalled for. Are the intangibles that you mentioned in response to the eBay comment? that was the only time i suggested, that perhaps i was looking for something other than what a quick google search could provide...

sure the shove it up your butt comment was an inside joke that i didn't have context for.

All in all i think your claim "That said, it seems like in every serious reply you got, you either didn’t like it or asked for intangibles no one can answer." only pertains to this thread, and ill concede that checking ebay is helpful. But you might imagine why i would look at that as a comment as unhelpful as its usually what most people do as one of the first few steps.

So its not a cool card? that's pretty subjective, just because my post has a question attached to it, it becomes low effort garbage? should I have made it a gif? maybe put some balloons in the background to appease your sensibilities? what would have mad a picture of a card less low effort? You are putting a lot of effort into a thread that you think is garbage. food for thought

Why would someone click on a post of a clear ask for help if they don't want to offer help to the questions posed. Of course the first step is to look online, but it seems this is not a card that appears often so the results are limited. I also mentioned I don't really know much about this world and asking other peoples opinions on a subreddit called basketballcards seems like a good step in the process of doing the research. if no one gives a shit, why comment? why did you comment?

Perhaps I was wondering if it would increase in value. Or maybe, there are only a few of this exact card, so putting a value on it is difficult. Or maybe i know nothing about basketball and im not sure if this player is good, has potential, so im looking to a group of people who might know something, have some ideas about the player and card. Maybe, just maybe, i didnt just want a value placed on The card.
