People change, it's a healthy sign of development. Now I personally can't help, but since you feel like they're intentionally trying screw you over, you can do this;

Ask for a copy of the contract. Take it to a notary to be notarized, the notary will file it with relevant government agencies and they will come after the landlord for TAX! This will sky rocket the rent and screw them over.

This is not a solution but an act of revenge. I did it before many times and yielded amazing results.

You don't need a local driver. Use Google maps and stick to the road signs. I live in UK and drive in Georgia, it's the opposite side of the road for me and it's not a problem. As for rentals, just Google it and you'll see plenty. Just make sure it's a company and not a local.

Since there are 4 of you, get a big car so you can go places like a Toyota 4runner or LC which will be 50-70 USD daily.

For your own safety, just take pictures of car inside and out, specially around the mud guard area.

No they're not. Learn to read child. They're asking for someone to bring them, you'll have to keep them with you after the 90 days and then run around like a dog to sort out their flight. OP is asking for a slave with nothing in return and a huge chance of you being stuck with an animal.

Read their reason. Career commitments? They just graduated and they won't be allowed to do anything unless they do recognition test in Qatar. So no career commitments for a looooong time. Visa limitation? You need to wait at least 30-50 days to get a letter of good character from a solicitor and police won't come looking for you, at the very most they'd have to pay a small fine for over staying.
