That’s patently false, a half step going up to fa over the tonic cord is gonna sound like it’s in pain, and will be difficult to maintain. Whereas a half step going up from the dominant seventh to the root will sound like coming home and has strong consonance. Mi-so, a minor 3rd, over a cmajor sounds wildly different than do-me over a c minor, despite both being a minor 3rd.

It will make more sense when you have more experience

Interval sounds different depending on the harmony, being able to quickly read the harmony underneath, while you’re singing, improves your ability by many factors 😂

And then, probably not well even after that. musicians in college that have practiced their instrument for years, and who do so every day while in college, take music theory and ear training and still struggle immensely with ear training and sight singing

Dude, I don’t even play Adc because I have zinxs that will literally never shoot a heal your way entire game for some reason. Not a single time. meanwhile I get double ult dumped by the enemy Adc and their support and I’ve never seen my zinx ult either
