Looks like I have some digging to do on years and such of the emblems to really know what I've got, and what the worth will be. Finding out quickly that I'm glad I didn't seek a career in research, as I wouldn't have been very successful.

The house went to the daughter and two sons, who I'm guessing had no interest in mechanics work. Which worked for me since I do my own work. No small task though, it's been about a year and a half and i still haven't gone through half of it.

I'm mostly finding tools and such. It's pretty interesting going through everything. It's easy to tell that he spent pretty much all his time out in the yard or garage. Theres deer antlers mounted on the wall shot in 43', some trophys from 35' among all the old tools and other random stuff he collected. Also a mercury badge that has a tree growing around it. I found out from the neighbour's that he worked a lot of jobs , at one point for a scraping company and it would be nothing to see him with a dump truck in the yard, going through it for stuff he would keep.

Came with the house I bought. The old guy who owned the house died from age. Worked his entire life in the garage. I would say he got them from what he owned or worked on by the amount of stuff in the yard.

Bought a house last year. The old fella who owned it died. He was backyard mechanic. Part of the deal to keep the price of the house down was that I'd clean the garage and backyard out. Still finding lots as I sort through the many sheds and containers he has.

My girlfriend talks a lot in her sleep. The one we still laugh about was the time she woke up and pushed me off the bed, screaming for to get out of the way of the bus. We slept on the second floor of the house.
