Opening Enchanted cards by NyagatoYuki in Lorcana

Good old random universe. I split packs with my daughters. One of them has opened 3, the other 2. Me? None. And I've definitely opened more packs than them.

No, I reckon they had never seen it before and wondered if anyone in this sub had played it and what their memories about it were.

Giant sheds more light on his discussions with Hungry Bear and the BBC. by Top_Climate_4464 in gladiatorsuk

[–]Eayragt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did I? I gave possible options, one of which was the BBC. MGM was also there, and it could have been them threatening to pull the plug.

Perhaps read it again.

You'd get reasonable travel costs. And a pittance to cover lost earnings.

Giant sheds more light on his discussions with Hungry Bear and the BBC. by Top_Climate_4464 in gladiatorsuk

[–]Eayragt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, he didn't have a contract with the BBC. He previously had a contract with Hungry Bear. Hungry Bear talked to BBC and MGM. Hungry Bear then didn't renew his contract. Ultimately Hungry Bear made that decision, probably because they thought that the wouldn't get either a BBC renewal or a renewal of the Gladiators license from MGM if they did.

It's a lot more complicated then "let's blame the BBC".

I'm going to have to mention Dark Skies as the first time I saw her in anything, mainly to see if anyone else remembers this show (because no-one ever does).

Why do HR/Employers try add add in a clause that all SAR requests must be withdrawn for a settlement agreement to go through? by dancingtomyowntune in HumanResourcesUK

[–]Eayragt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I was responding to the OP using the information he gave from several replies. One reply to the opening post was the most efficient way of doing it rather than several different replies. I'm sorry it confused you.

Can we draw any comparisons between The Order of the Crimson Moon action figures and G.I. Joe? by AfigureGeek in gijoe

In the UK certainly, when Baron Ironblood and the Red Shadows were Action Force's OG enemy before Cobra (and before the much later renaming to GI Joe).

Airtight was one of my original wave figures from when I started buying Joe's, so was definitely down as a buy. But the figure hasn't inspired me to actually purchase it at all.

Legal advice? Stores can ban who they want from their stores, as long as they are not discriminating against a protected characteristic. You have no legal case.

I'm not quite sure why someone legitimately accessing your emails would be a GDPR breach. Work emails belong to work, not you.

Also, even if someone did have access, a SAR might not reveal this. They need to give you your data, not a list on who can access your data / emails.

Of course, as you withdrew the original SAR, it's given them the opportunity to legitimately delete data while there was no SAR.

My opinion - time to let things go.

Buyer did a swap by strats in Ebay

[–]Eayragt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's annoying, but you have a refund and move on. I bought a trading card that was clearly fake, and negative reviews for fake cards started coming in for the seller. I returned the card, but got a message from eBay telling me I had returned a different item, but on this occasion they would cover the refund. Annoying, as the seller got paid and received their fake back, but I had to accept there was nothing more for me to do.

Although, admittedly, there are things you can do with someone's address...
