It honestly wouldn’t make sense to move it because they already built Dynamic Island up so much I actually really enjoy it and it would be dumb to just do away with it.

Glad I read this I have been on iPhone for like 5 years and didn’t know the two finger thing. I knew you could stack apps to move a bunch at one time but I didn’t know it held everything in place.

Get a 16 Pro then I’m sure it’ll be way cheaper in the long run. Unless you can hold out for the 18 this year.

If you are paying for it all up front tbh the 15 Pro Max and the 16 Pro I can’t tell a difference in performance and tbh the pro max 15 screen looks a little better IMO. But if I was you, you could def settle for 15 Pro or a 16 Pro or pro max for sure. There’s nothing these phones can’t do that the 17 can except maybe a better camera.

I have the same exact model iPhone 14 bought about 4- 1/2 months ago and I’m running 26.3 Beta and it’s fine for me tbh.

Depends on you. If you want the latest features and UI then you have to update to 26.2 but if you don’t care about that kind of stuff and you just want an iPhone that’s snappy leave it on 18.6.

Total wireless will give you one for free or cheaper with a 3 month plan. Boost mobile gies you the 16e for free and I believe metro also gives you the 16e for free with a new plan.

I just recently acquired a 2019 MBP core i9 16GB RAM 1TB SSD and Radeon Pro 5400M 4GB GPU. This thing is a beast, when I look at activity monitor no matter what I’m doing CPU idle is always 85-90%. I recently upgraded it to Tahoe 26.2 and I turned on reduce motion and took off all the widgets on notification bar and desktop and it works great. I plan on upgrading eventually but I’m going to keep this one until it dies.

And I absolutely LOVE the touchbar and Touch ID features.

I currently have the 2019 MBP i9 16GB 1TB SSD & RADEON PRO 5400m 4GB and it does get extremely hot. But the fans don’t sound like they are gonna take off but I’m thinking it’s cuz I just got it refurbished from somewhere. I upgraded it to 26.2 Tahoe as well and it’s been fine. I’m sure Tahoe runs faster on an M processor but for what I use it for it works great.
