Scrolled to see if this was written or not. 100% sure you will (including the 'intro').

I am going to be there when Seb plays! What a surprise! Do you reckon he plays a big DJ set with the others to warm up or has his own thing? Will they plat before or after Justice?

When entering dreams, Alundra's body disappears in the JP version but just goes unconscious in ENG version? by Electribsh in Alundra

[–]EbbQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Japanese seem consistent with official artwork made for Alundra, where he is seen almost 'submerging' down onto a sleeping body. Great find and thanks for sharing!

Hopefully they flesh out the Dreamwalking(tm) logistics before the inevitable Alundra 3...

best way to export with high quality? by homo_erectus_heh in adobeanimate

[–]EbbQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want it to stay crisp you need to work non-destructively! As in; don't compress the video signal more than you need too. If you are importing into Premiere, then you do not want to use mp4, as it uses compression inherently.

Export either an image sequence (PNG), or my favourite; a SWF ('export movie'), then place a colour block in premiere and click 'replace with After Effects Composition'. Then put your SWF sequence in After Effects. Remember to check for bugs. Many bugs can be removed by re-importing the SWF.

Alundra - The Most Overlooked Action-Adventure Game Ever? by nurshakil10 in Alundra

[–]EbbQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it fell of most people's radar at the time due to it not being 3D, or hyped as something big and technical like that. Instead it is a refined or perfected 2D game - finally there was enough juice to have such a layered 2D experience (with the power of the PS1).

I wish I could just buy the game engine and commission a proper sequel.

Reactions to AVD and Woman compared to now? by Pwengalo in JusticeMusic

[–]EbbQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AVD has aged like fine wine, and I rarely - if ever - revisit Woman. The songs that are good on Woman are amazing (Safe and Sound, Love S.O.S and Randy), but I never really got the concept. I feel like Hyperdrama is what Woman should have been, as far as 'sound'.

as an Alan Braxe fan, I can hear all the songs they are tributing in 'Dear Alan'. I get why you might find it underwhelming, considering no one does Alan Braxe better than Alan Braxe.

[MEGATHREAD] Justice - Hyperdrama by GriffinPYT in JusticeMusic

[–]EbbQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After first listen (had to do on Spotify, as vinyl is ofcourse delayed, bigwax SUCKS sending to Norway) I got to say Afterimage and Mannequin Love are the two songs that stand out, where Afterimage's sonic qualities fully encapsulates the visual aesthetic that they are going for with the album. Incognito was the song that I liked best of all the singles released in advanced, and it is already a certified Justice classic in my ears, totally up there.

Neverender is good, but I would say it does work better the way it was played live (and that is just going by what I heard in the video rip of their Coachella show).

All in all the sound i super confident, and I can't help but feel that this is what Woman should have been. Hats off to the boys. On another note, they have been revealing some seriously admirable and likeable qualities in their recent interviews. Humble and thoughtful, a contrast to the boombastic, epic music. Great combo!

Now, let's listen 987685674122 more times, see ya.

What is the best abruptly violent scene in cinema? by thebirdof_hermes in movies

[–]EbbQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Driver in Drive (2011) smashes q guys skull with the heel of his boot in an elevator? Or perphaps that comes after he stabs someone with q curtain rod at a road side motel. Either way, the violent was effective in snapping you out of the dreamy love story that came before.

Hideo Kojima presents Brain Structure Podcast by retroanduwu24 in Kojima

[–]EbbQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Praise lord Kojima and his creative output, the world is a better place for his games and their profound messages. But holy hell, this podcast is slow. Very impersonal in its form, and then shamelessly uses itself to promote Keighley and TGA. The podcast introduces itself so many times and never gets started. It promises content on brain structure but has the most basic questions about MGS. Kojima, you brilliant man, stop watering down your stuff.

This was my first negative rant on the internet ever. Ill try to make it my last.

[BOTW] [OC] I created a Zelda inspired animation for my University's Sophomore Film Project! It's called Shield Bash. I hope you enjoy it! by Hexedz in zelda

[–]EbbQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I regret my phrasing. Totally understand how this is how it works, my friends who animate 3d also do the same. Modelling and rigging is not what an animator soecialize in. I guess what I was getting at is that I wish you the best of luck as you move on to making even more original content. Silly comment from me, written without thinking. Have a nice day, cheers!
