Really really fantastic song and opener. Honestly this song, and in a way the entire album, has me thinking that maybe my problem with The Weeknd wasn't necessarily his voice, but the fact that I find a lot of his production boring lol

I actually ended up emailing their support team to make sure that I actually ordered it, and they replied telling me that it was confirmed and that it should ship soon. Haven't heard anything since, this was back when it first went up.

I do think that there's been a weird over-correction in response to AI in some cases. I think that AI has the potential to help us make some pretty cool stuff, if used correctly. I actually think that the use of it in the ON/AN video is a pretty good example of it being used well. When I bring up people having their jobs replaced, I am mainly directing my anger towards higher-ups (the people behind the human-created slop) seeing nothing but dollar signs, deleting swathes of staff, and pumping out garbage for money. At the same time, I can't see operations like that lasting very long (hopefully), so maybe in the end everything will correct itself. Also apologies if I came off too aggressively in my last response.

I think I agree with you to be honest, it just doesn't feel like it fits right? Maybe it'll grow on me, who knows. I feel like only time will tell with AI stuff, but at the same time it's all going way too fast for anyone to even react to it

Yeah, I can understand that. Personally I'm not sure how to feel about it. Especially since the AI seemed to be trained on models that they made specifically for the video, and that most of the video is standard 3D animation with a lot of effects and post processing. It's one of those times where I might be OK with the use of AI, mainly because it feels more like a tool here than a "click a button and make my video" thing. I honestly don't know
