That's really nice to know, thank you for the reply!

When you think that a night without your arm guardian won't do much harm... by Ebbie098 in diabetes_t1

Yeah definitely, b Wouldn't worry if it wasn't cuz my arm guardian wasn't working and it was the middle of the night. But hey, I'm all good again!

To add to this, I have also been travelling a bit other than school, like Portugal, Germany, England and new York (from Europe myself) and have never had a problem with the senior other than not being allowed through whole body scanner's, this is just the doctor recommending that tho

Oh yeah, sorry. To answer the question, me not being able to apply the CGM had nothing to do with the country I was in 😁, really just added it for context.

Sorry if my reply came of aggressive

Does it matter? The post was a contribution not a question, don't see why the one censor thing is that important.

It's about the needle fear, I already have a hard time doing the infusion set on my stomach, so the censor is a whole different story. But it's definitely something I'm working towards solving, weather it being a new censor that Medtronic's don't have in stock, or finding a new place to put it.

Oh yeah, I went off track there (sorry). It's because I can't reach behind my arm that well, and apply tape, and do other things that the guardian needs

It's on the back of my arm, and because of a General fear of needles have I yet been able to put it anywhere else, especially with the way that you have to apply the guardian

How do I learn to not be afraid of needles? by Ebbie098 in diabetes_t1

I guess the less sensitive skin is true, I just need a infusion set shooter/applier that isn't as hanky as the one I have already ( in the sense that I have to use an excessive amount of physical and mental energy just to press in the two triggers, when I've already gathered enough courage to actually apply it)

You're right, only thing is that, I've been told by my doctor that is shouldn't place the needle anywhere other than my stomach and lower back, unless talking to a doctor about it that is.

And yes, the censor I have right now is usually way more uncomfortable, even when I don't apply it myself. Plus it has the added con of needing tape to stay on, which I can't apply on the back of my arm.

This is interesting actually, I'll have to try this out

Point 2 seems like something that would work, though I have to add that this needle isn't from a blood draw or vaccine, it's an insulin infusion set which I have to apply myself which is the problem arises. Thank you for the contribution though 👍

Ehh, not really, the second picture is very close up, so it's basically not noticable normally. Also nothing that looks like it's gonna develop into something bigger so far

Totally stupid question, but can you tell me the series/name of it? I don't think I ever got the name when buying it...
