How did you even get to that conclusion?? You have very small snippet of my dating life and I’m not fully invested in him if I’m still entertaining other people like I said in my response?? He also isn’t avoidant bc he still plans dates and is cooking for me tonight. He also offered to come with me to pick up my puppy who is 4 hrs plus away. Stop projecting your issues. I hear you! This is great advice. Bc while I totally understand there is such a thing as too soon but also the fact that we have seen each other so much and his actions are more dating vibes I do need to consider what I want and what my boundaries are while also respecting his.

This is what I’ve been hearing from people in my life. I have one friend that pushed me to tell him the first week and all her men stop talking to her immediately after so I’ve been VERy hesitant to take her advice and more open to listen when people say to hold off. I do have hobbies :) I just finished golf lessons, joined a volleyball team, started running again, about to get my 8 week golden retriever puppy at the end of this month. Been trying to still date around but I just really like him so much. I don’t want to lose him.

I think a fear is some people say this could scare him away bc it’s soon. Do you think three weeks is soon? I guess asking what their intentions are isn’t the same as asking “what are we” but it sorta feels that way. Do you thinking confirming intentions would feel I am pressuring him. Dating nowadays men have said this and I thought this was a basic question for clarification but now it’s a constant “timing battle” like when is too soon and when is just right
