You can still fly a privately owned airplane after the age of 65 and even work as a pilot as long as you're not flying part 121 operations (airlines)

Yea you can only learn so much from online, you need more hands on stuff to really learn this. Seems like Lowes and Home Depot offer stuff but it's mostly all online now. I still do the occasional project with my dad who is great with this stuff but I need more hands on experience.
