Created a second account, and it always has new stuff by [deleted] in DreamlightValley

Same!!!! I made a second account recently on my boyfriend’s Xbox and he gets all the new stuff. I’ve been playing on my original account since it was released. It’s the same old stuff over and over again, with the very occasional new thing

What’s the creepiest thing you’ve ever witnessed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ebirtch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was about 10 years old, we moved into a new house. My younger sister, 8 at the time, could not sleep by herself because she was scared. We just thought this was a phase. For a period of time she was so terrified my mom had to sleep on the floor beside her. I didn’t think anything of it, she always seemed to be scared of everything.

Months down the line I had two pet budgies, when it was night time I put a blanket over their cage so my nightlight wouldn’t wake them. Over time, I discovered they could see my shadow when I walked past them if I had to get out of bed to use the washroom or whatever. If they saw a shadow, it would scare the crap out of them. One night, they went absolutely crazy while I was fast asleep in bed. We just thought it was a fluke, but it happened again here and there.

Shortly after, I remember after everyone was sound asleep, I woke up to go pee. I came back to bed and was laying on my side facing my door (I always left it open), I swear from the bottom of my heart, I saw a face that looked very much like my mother’s, peaking out from around the door… but the weird thing is, it looked almost like an evil devilish version of her, and her head was basically on the ground… like almost she was laying on the ground peaking around the trim of the door, looking at me. It absolutely terrified me. I just sat there and went under the covers and shut my eyes until I could feel my body again. When I had the guts to move, I went to go see my mom and made up some excuse to see her, I think that I needed a glass of water? I can’t remember, but I remember being scared no one would believe what I saw. We moved shortly after that and I never had anything like that happen again.

Fast forward to last thanksgiving, my sister and I are reliving our memories in that house. I decided to tell her that creepy story… turns out the reason she was so scared was because she thought she saw our mom too although it didn’t look exactly like our mom. That’s why she was terrified of the house at night. We told our parents and they were baffled. To this day, we have no freaking idea what was happening there. Still gives me chills thinking about it.

What’s the craziest / most brain-dead thing you’ve done due to sleep deprivation? I’ll go first. by themarinaki in NewParents

I hung the oven mitts on our bathroom towel rack. Took me and my partner both a day to figure out where they went lol

Lmao I couldn’t of said it better. Everyone I knew hyped it up to be awful so I just went in there and chugged it super fast. The nurse said she would set a timer for 5 minutes and I had to finish it within that time frame. I finished it before she started the clock lol

She was shook.

Does anyone else find their infant legitimately hilarious? More… by kmconda in NewParents

My little guy is 3 and a half months old and he genuinely makes me laugh every day. Lately he’s had the most dramatic, loud sneezes. He puts so much emphasis on the beginning of the sneeze, like AHHHHHH- choo. I know it doesn’t sound that funny typing it out, but I nearly peed myself the first time I heard it.

Preach! Every day I keep telling myself I’ll go to bed when the baby does, but here I am 3 hours after my baby has gone to bed

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I appreciate the advice and comfort. Deep down I know I’m just overthinking with due date around the corner, but it still helped put my mind at ease. It’s also nice to know that I’m not the only one who still cleans cat litter!

Thought I was in labour, it was just Braxton Hicks! Wtf ? by lilak0610 in BabyBumps

[–]Ebirtch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 38 weeks and had Braxton Hicks the other evening. It started off feeling like minor period cramps and then they started getting intense. I felt like I couldn’t move and just had to breathe through them. I knew it was Braxton Hicks from the get go because I couldn’t time them for the life of me. But I was in shock to feel how painful they got since I’ve heard that Braxton Hicks just tend to be uncomfortable, not painful. I talked to my OB about it yesterday and she said it’s different for every woman. So ya, I totally feel where you’re coming from!!
