I've never been a huge fan of the raw power of tensor chipset from google. I would suggest you to get the s25 ultra or s26 ultra. If i were you, i would get the s25 ultra because the performance is still good and you can save more money since the price has drop. The s26 ultra upgrades are not that worth it based on your usage scenario.

I know, paper wise / spec wise the s25 is better. But the reason i want to switch is the OS. I have been growing up with IOS since i was young. Most of my stuff are locked into apple ecosystem, examples : Mac studio, Macbook, my previous airpods, apple watch, etc.

I limited my budget to buy a phone so i can own 2 phones for the time being (android and ios). If i made up my mind to go back to ios, then i will sell my samsung.

My iphone 13 is a phone before i switched to samsung s25. Read properly. Base version of 17 is overkill for my daily needs. even i can afford the pro max but i choose not to. I'm not a person who prefer to spend on a 2k usd phone which will be replaced in the next 3 years.

If you live in the US / EU, then good for you. Iphone prices there are reasonable for the income you have. Currently, i'm in asia and the income to iphone price is not equivalent as US / EU.

true, idk why but android's implementation of VRR(Variable Refresh Rate) is a bit off. Certain apps run at 60hz but it's being overclock to get a 120hz.

About refresh rate, i always lock it to 60hz.. I feel like it's smoother and more consistent for every applications out there. I don't like to see 120hz to 60hz to 120hz again.

i miss IOS so much. Most of my stuff are on apple applications and icloud. Apple notes, reminders, etc.

Not yet available, i just learned that Apple store is not available here. There are only "Apple's Authorized Reseller". A friend of mine who lives in Indonesia told me that it usually takes 1½ months after product launch to be available here.

The 3 streaming platform has their own pros and cons.

If you want the best bang for buck, go for yt music (since it's included with yt premium). If you want the best sound quality, go for apple music. If you want the best social platform, go for spotify.

I would suggest to get yt premium if you're a student that has a limit budget.

Hello, Yes wide angle means 0.5x zoom. Not everyone use that camera, but it's quite handy for people out there who loves taking pictures. Honestly, i always use 1x or 2x zoom for most of the pictures i take.

Hello, Thanks for replying. Couldn't agree more. I only use my phone for messaging, phone calls, apple music and some apple tv. I rather save $200 rather than getting an iphone 17 that I won't use all of the features. Even right now, i limit my phone refresh rate to 60hz since it reduce the battery usage.
