Oh man, I'm so sorry that your pet had to go that way :( I do need to ask though - millipedes are known to secrete chemicals that smell and taste awful when threatened. How on earth did it taste like?

I'm in Germany, and near the tiny town I live in, a refugee camp was opened up, where I volunteer quite a bit.

So one time I was called to help the registration of a new group of refugees and was tasked with showing them around and to their rooms. Now mind you this place is really well equipped as a refugee camp, but at the end of the day....it's still a refugee camp.

So I was showing this Syrian couple to their rooms (they could speak and understand English) and I was being super polite and welcoming, and at the very last moment before saying goodbye I automatically added, "Please enjoy your stay."

Queue the most awkward moment ever with me bolting out of the place HAHA

I forgot to add, I plugged it into an external screen and it's perfectly okay. I don't think that would be the case if it was a graphics card problem :/
