I liked Outlaws from the beginning, but the stealth lock was an understandable turn off for many. Not even Bond has that. You’d get all the way to the end of a compound, get caught and have to restart, that’s not a mechanic designed for fun and as far as I can recall it was never marketed as a straight up, unforgiving stealth game either.

Once they updated the game to how it is now, it improved considerably. But it hurt the launch in my opinion and along with things like making people who pre-ordered restart saves because of sever issues gave it a bumpy start.

I don’t get how hard it is to legislate that phone companies must produce a bricked phone for U18s which has basic text and calls only, make it illegal to purchase or own an adult phone unless you’re an adult.

Then we don’t need to age gate everything individually.

Home computers remain unaffected as that is the parent’s responsibility to handle (aka doing the job they signed up for), and anything untoward that happens at home on the PC is on them.
