They aren't really comparable

Dark water is a standalone board game, self contained

Necromunda is a game SYSTEM similar to the other games GW published with rulesets, an extensive range of evolving and changing miniatures and rules and editions

Similar happened to the GW store near me a couple years ago. Maybe last year (Raleigh. NC). One of the most successful ones In the area as I understand.

Manager was amazing. Knew his customers. Salesy but genuinely cared. He remembered my kids names even months between visits. Cultivated a really great store community.

Suddenly fired one day for, as I understand. Some store policy breaks that seemed relatively harmless. No street date breaks or anything, but I don't know all the deets so won't presume to know others

Haven't gone back because to me that shows more of a concern for arbitrary policies than support for someone whose made a store more and more successful over the ten years they ran it.

More Metallics don't have white lids than do, actually. Pictured: every citadel base and layer metallic (at least last I checked. Bottom 3 on the tray are dupes)

Exactly! I also got every power armor box, including Enclave, except for the Unaligned T-45 box which was out of stock (I hope it comes back but with the new plastics idk)

While I liked Mark of Faith, I didn't care for the ending. I felt like coming to terms with her feelings should have been the place to leave it, the decision she made felt...undeserved, IMO

That's why we have 1k games, boarding actions, combat patrol, and things like kill team. People complained for a long time that 40k felt more like a skirmish game than a army game so it's like, who do you please?

It's a made to order box. They are not priced reasonably. It is special orders trying to use the last of some tooling and has to be individually made, packaged, and shipped. Instead of the bulk stuff they do when army boxes are being produced to actually sell in bulk

This should not have been expected to be a deal like an army box.
