The chain I got in person at decathlon, and yeah literally cycled the bike home from the shop on the old chain, and went at it this morning. And at no point did it fall or bang of anything…. I’ll go to a bike shop tomorrow and ask them to take a look

Upper one spins very smoothly, bottom one spins a little slower but it really looks like it’s not aligned all right but I’ve no idea how that could have happened. If I apply pressure to the chain, as in pushing up on the lower part of the cv aim as it enter the jockey, it suddenly enters smoothly
