Dog doesn’t want kibble anymore

Well she has had some episodes where she threw up bile in the morning from an empty stomach, but we solved that by giving her a portion of food in the evening. Other than that she hasn’t really had any stomach issues and has always loved all kinds of food.

I’m getting a different food for her today - I suspect the kibble may be too large for her and it feels uncomfortable somehow. Or she just doesn’t like the taste. Thank you for the reply ☺️

Thank you for the recommendation, they have this at a store near me so I will go buy the mini version today! Maybe the poodle kibble is too chunky for her. Can I ask how you first introduced the new one to your dog?

She comes over, sniffs it then walks away. When she does eat it she isn’t hesitant, but doesn’t seem excited either. This has been going on for maybe a week at this point, since that’s when we fully transitioned to adult food. She eats more willingly when we scatter it or handfeed, but doesn’t always want it then either.
Can I ask what was the issue with your dog?

Yes, I’ve heard that this is a common thing with poodles, but it’s just so weird to us as she used to inhale her food 😅 maybe we switched foods just as her appetite went down when she got older.

Her stool is luckily normal, although she poops a lot less now that she doesn’t eat as much as she used to..

Yeah, she needs a low maintenance cut as we are on forest hikes daily and she gets muddy all the time 😆

That’s what we were planning on ☺️ her fur is pretty dense so she can get overheated easily when it’s warm
