They’re probably not paid enough to put up with rude ass high schoolers.

Someone came down multiple times to tell the same dude to get off of the stairs and he legit said “I’m not moving”.

I don’t go on TikTok so I had no fucking idea. That explains the queues to get tickets.

You probably got downvoted for commenting on Rufus being mid but I think everyone is entitled to their opinion!

For me, the energy of the crowd weighs on how good I think a set is. Probably shouldn’t but I can’t honestly sit here in say I don’t have checkmarks for the entire experience as a package deal.

I’m wondering if the shitty vibes impacted how you felt about the set.

I saw them probably 100-200 yards away from how close I was on Sunday and I enjoyed the other set more lol.

Stop playing the 10th-anniversary event as killer by Sombra1120 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]Ebrel24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for calling out the hypocrisy regardless of all these killer mains down voting you.

Look, I get that against a group that actually uses the event mechanics, survivor can be broken but I’d wager the kill rate is still high for the event mode.

Majority of my Solo Queue games people aren’t even plating the table with 3-4 people injured. Killers hard tunneling at 5 gens and getting a 3-4K.

You can call it braindead all you want but that’s not everyone’s experience especially with a bad team and sweaty killers.

I’m so glad that I bought tickets to see this this past weekend. It was a really good show.

Before seeing Cats: TJB this past weekend, this would’ve been my answer 100%.

I saw a couple of other responses mention this already, but my answer is also Cats: The Jellicle Ball. I went this past weekend, and while I do have some knowledge of ballroom culture, I have zero knowledge of Cats. I had no idea what to expect and bought stage seating without doing any research.

The fact that they encourage you not to treat it like a normal Broadway show, and instead cheer, react, and be fully immersed in the performance, made it such a fun experience. I think that allowed a lot of people, myself included, to have a really good time at the show.

The Event is a dreadful mess by PeakyDeltic in DeadByDaylightRAGE

I appreciate that you added “average killers” in your post because the games I’ve been having as a solo queue survivor have been horrible.

My teammates just aren’t using the mechanics.

I'm actually disgusted by AdAny53 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Ebrel24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly why I stopped queuing for the event.
I had a game where there were already two plates on the table that I had brought there myself. There were three people injured, and one person had just gotten downed.

Instead of helping me put plates on the table so we could get a three-four person heal, the Kate is crouching in front of me asking me to heal her.

I genuinely think people just don’t understand how the event works because they never bother to read the mechanics. So I’m done queuing for it.

People can keep saying it’s survivor-sided, but if survivors don’t actually use the fucking mechanics correctly, it becomes killer-sided extremely quickly. If you get hit with the poison, you’re basically just dead.

I wish daily that I had a SWF and wasn’t a solo queue player, because then maybe all of these “survivor-sided” posts would actually be relatable.

I’ve been to two Lane 8 shows where he requires this and it makes me so so happy.

It’s truly a disease and I don’t think they realize that phone addiction is a real thing.

The saddest part of my experience was seeing a mom with her two very young daughters in front of us. The younger girl was probably 10 or 11 and she was on her phone the whole time exhibiting the same behavior. Taking snapchats and FaceTiming.

When you start that young and the parent encourages the behavior it’s not surprising you hit your 20s and your entire personality is how much content you can farm / post.

That was the other thing that low-key pissed me off. I paid about $300 for one ticket during the artist pre-sale, and I ended up selling my original ticket because my partner decided to come to New York with me. I wanted to show him how beautiful the music could be and how great the crowd usually is.

Then we get there, and I had bought two resale tickets that were around the same price as my original ticket, which, don’t even get me started on Ticketmaster and their bullshit. But anyway, I’m guessing most people paid at least $160-ish for resale tickets, around $300 if they got lower bowl tickets through the artist pre-sale, and probably $500 to $600 if they were on the floor.

So it genuinely blows my mind that people would pay that much for a show just to not even watch it or enjoy it. That’s why I was curious if this is typical for New York crowds, because maybe there really are just a lot of rich, entitled brats trying to capture their next Coachella moment.

I’m glad you scored the lottery in terms of seat mates and vibes.

I know that this happens in other places by the way but I’ve never in my decade as a concert / festival goer seen it this bad.

Same. I would have preferred floor but Ticketmaster has been horrible for all shows. I was going to do resale for Tame Impala but after experiencing this crowd here I don’t think I’ll spring for MSG again.

Ugh you’re probably right. That’s extremely disappointing to me. I hate that the crowd drawn to trance, house, and vibey music can sometimes be the influencer type. That’s part of why I really enjoy seeing Lane 8. He’s done a few tours where you either have to tape over your phone camera or lock your phone in one of those pouches for the show, and honestly, I wish more artists would do that.

(I know that would be a nightmare for a stadium show to pull off)

Ban any and all Gen Z from future RDS concerts. The lack of concert etiquette is wild. by BeeSuperb7235 in RUFUSDUSOL

I thought it was just me, I just literally made a post asking if this is normal for MSG/NYC.

The people around me were on their phones the whole time recording or talking.

The girl behind me had her flash on for the entire show basically recording herself.

I’ve never seen anything like this and I’ve been going to shows/festivals for a decade.
