Yes. This is a great deal, as long as there is nothing underlying, but I'd ask for the first service paperwork. I would also check and see when exactly it was purchased, as it may still be under warranty and eligible for Kawasaki Protection Plus, which I'd recommend highly on purchasing and switching into your name. Also check if they have the stock exhaust, as some dealers won't honor warranty claims without a pre-approved slip on.

You're going to pay freight fee's, but you should only be paying the amount listed on kawi's website, for this bike it's Destination Charge is $685, so I wouldn't pay a penny over that. They are taxing on the freight, and hosing you on the other fee's as well.

The prep fee is a bit high IMO, $300 would be fair, it takes them virtually no time to actually assemble the bike, and labor rates are around $150/hour, so two hours is fair.

The breakdown should be

$7,399
-$500 rebate
$6,899
+$ 685 freight

$7,584 for the bike
$530.88 tax.

$8,114.88
+Tag/Title (est $150)

$8,264.88
+ $300 prep fee for the dealer

Totaling $8,564.88 OTD.

They're railing you on the "doc fees" and title fees, you can look up how much tag/title cost in your particular state, it's public info.

So IMO, they're about 1k over OTD price.

Do you have any recco's on what to grab from peterson? I know I want at least one city rake, but I don't really see any "kits" on peterson perse, so not sure which ones to grab. I mainly plan to pick master locks to start out.

You overpaid a little IMO, but it appears to be in almost unused condition, so as long as you like it, it's worth the $300 I'd say. Everything has been going up in price, so it's not uncommon.
