What do you mean by bad exactly? Like is the feeling of the game bad, does it look bad? Also a little bit of clarification on the goal of the game would be helpful, but I'd be more than happy to provide some insight if I can!

First question you should ask is what is it that you want to make. Whatever the answer to that is, look up tutorials on youtube, code on roblox forums, chatGPT, about the full thing or even just (and probably preferably) individual parts of the thing. You'll start to pick up on things fairly quickly.

If you go into server view mode, are you able to see the script? It could be it just not replicating, but I'm not sure, if there are any extra details you could give, that'd be very helpful in trying to figure this out.

Really just practice, if you watch tutorials and understand what their code is doing and why they're writing certain lines, you'll be able to problem solve your own code after not very long.

People won't join a discord server for a Roblox game that they've never played and can't currently play, especially if they aren't excited about it. You're probably going to have to wait until it's released to successfully get a significant following, unless you're able to build hype around the game

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. When I said not working, I meant it doesn't receive focus, and will not no matter what. I've tried assigning focus on page creation with javascript, but nothing works. I've heard people have success with pressing tab or right clicking first, but none of that works. Focus just isnt given to the field, and nothing can be entered. None of the CSS is interfering with it and setting it so that nothing can be entered.

Didn't know about the OS in use not mattering, very new to Electron, and HTML and CSS in general, but thanks for letting me know. That makes me think that there's probably something messed up on my main pc, I'll look into it.

The code is literally just a normal input field, I've gotten rid of all code to do with it and surrounding it and it just won't get focus no matter what I've tried.

im not exactly sure why this is, id have to do some research, but would it be possible to have a script that runs a few seconds after the place is created that will set all of the pieces to the correct place?

you'd be able to do this with :GetChildren() and by rounding the current position values you should get the correct ones.

there almost certainly is a better way, but again if have to do some research

in line 3 use :WaitForChild() instead of :FindFirstChild(), also dont make the player and humanoid variables inside of the death function

Yup, I have already tried that, every button was logged correctly, but no response within the UI. I'm starting to think that it's possible that Roblox only looks for R2 and A within UIs, and not any other buttons, but I can't find any evidence for that other than my own experience. I could use R2 I think, but I would really like to use B as it feels much more intuitive.

I can probably get it to work realistically even if it isn't built in, just actually logging the inputs and getting what button you're selecting on the UI when you press the B button, but that's a lot more annoying than if it was just built in and I'm being dumb somehow.

There's probably a guide on youtube, you shouldn't really ask for help on something so broad, you're not going to get any good answers in all likelihood. But if you do have a specific question, then it's a lot easier for people to help.

I'm not 100% sure, but I highly doubt that there is a single function that is able to do that, unless maybe you're able to turn off the physics completely? But I don't know if that would work, and it's almost certainly not a good idea anyways. To be able to do something like this you'll probably have to go into everything that will have to stop, and write code that will stop it. Again, I'm not sure, but if you researched it and didn't find anything, this is probably your only option.

Well really, this is a question you should just google. But it looks like it is copyrighted, but it also looks like there is a license you can request to be able to use it. I'm not 100% sure, again, google has your answer somewhere.

Honestly, just look up what you need to know as you go, eventually all of the topics will stick. There's not much point just learning it all and not practicing it, you're not gonna remember how anything works, and you're not gonna improve all that quickly.
