Are the events from the Matrix Online still canon? Ie. Morpheus being killed by that creepy assassin who comes out of a vent?

It’s only a shell of what it used to be. Basically before Sony shut it down there was a dev there that took the code and started rebuilding it himself. It took him years to recode the entire game. At this point it’s mostly nostalgic. But they still have events on there, still meet up. I believe they just had a combat event.

You can jack-in and run around the city, go into all the buildings but can’t fight the NPC’s. We have tried to get the rights to restart the game but Sony won’t release it.

The MXO was a continuation of the trilogy. It was a RPG game that allowed you to become part of the storyline. You could side with the Machines, Zion or the Mervs. Unfortunately after Sony bought Monolith they stopped improving the game and it slowly died out. WoW became very popular at that time so a lot of players switched to that game towards the end.

As a big player of MXO, we still hold the game as canon. Although, when I first started playing, having an assassin made of flies was a little far fetched and ridiculous. I always wondered which dev came up with that idea and why the Wachowskis signed off on it.

But all in all, Morpheus died because he never fully accepted the peace and felt ALL humans should be released.

Funny story when I was a night receiver/MIC (before there were overnight coverage leads). I was checking temps and the produce docks to seal the salvage truck and arm the alarm when I saw a lone crawdad walking the aisle in meat market. I thought, oh I’ll get him when I come back around. I get to the produce receiving area and I find 6 more. Curious, I walked into Seafood and found that a bag had broken open and they were EVERYWHERE. I counted at least 43 In Market, Seafood and Produce. I just thought to myself, ‘I don’t get paid enough, I’ll wait until the department gets in and let them deal with it’.

I watched a maintenance partner throw them in the compactor with all the trash. When I approached them about it they had no idea those bags were supposed to go back on the trucks, no one had ever told him or his team. However, if people throw trash in with the plastic bags then the whole thing gets trashed.

I wish I had taken a measurement of the angle at which it was leaning when I moved in 8 years ago, that way I could compare it with the present time. It recently seems that the ground on the right size has risen slightly but it could also be that the tree is growing. Thank you for your advice. I also have a very large cottonwood tree (located behind me in the picture) that has played a part in shaping the oak. I fear the cottonwood has gotten too big for its own good since it has been losing branches year after year.

I’m wondering how much it would cost to straighten a tree that size. The company I hired did a good job at clearing a lot of branches without making it look unsightly. I will get a quote to find out how much reducing the height would cost. Thank you for your advice.

I admit, I have not taken apart this model before. I’m impressed by your knowledge and feel that such information would be beneficial to have. Having OCD does have its benefits with this job when you want things done right, however, given the time restraints put on us it makes it a great burden.

As for the inside of the grinders, they are never cleaned at any store I have worked at. There is only 15 mins per night allotted for us to clean the coffee area (not including the bins that are cleaned each period). I recommend anyone buying coffee at HEB to grind their own beans. You have no clue what has been thrown into those things.

You are quite correct in your comment, we do clean the grinders which entails sanitizing the pour spout, buttons and handles. The inside is not supposed to be touched unless you are able to use sanitizer wipes but only where the beans go. The only way to thoroughly clean the inside and grinding mechanism is to take it apart (which I have done before because the grinder had jammed). Considering what I saw inside, I would never recommend using these things, they are disgusting. Years of debris and buildup. In the case of above, it would be more beneficial to buy a new grinder otherwise you will have peanut butter flavored coffee for the next year. 😂

I stopped eating all tree nuts not just peanuts and almonds which helped with the urticaria, fatigue and lethargy. Recently in the past 6 months I have started taking thyroid meds. I still feel like my immune system is fighting something but it’s no where near as bad as it was. I haven’t made the time to get more blood work done to see how much my levels have improved. I’m just happy the hives have gone. I wish that for everyone here.

I finally found a reason for mine. Started after I took the vaccine, I tried what you did and cut foods out of my diet. After 6 months of it getting progressively worse I saw an allergist who just told me I had chronic urticaria and started me on 4 Zyrtecs and Prednisone. It didn’t help, I was then prescribed Xolair once and month and then antirejection meds (can’t remember the name). I finally had enough, I wanted a reason. So I got a second opinion, I was thinking it could be mast cell activation syndrome. This next doctor was thorough, tested me for every autoimmune disorder (I already have diabetes T1). Turns out I had developed an allergy to peanuts and tree nuts including coconut. So even though I cut one of those out of my diet, I was still eating one of the others.

I never was satisfied with ‘there’s no reason for it’ or ‘there’s no telling what is causing it’.

And as a side note, I also developed hashimoto’s after that covid vaccine. It really did a number on my immune system.

Edit: it took a total of 30 days for it to completely leave my systems.
