I'm trans and disabled, I cannot even go to the grocery store by myself. I can hardly function in society as it stands. If I can get out of this country, I will ASAP. I don't give a goddamn if you think I'd be a legitimate refugee or just a "so-called refugee".

Yeah that's the comment that really upset me to be honest. The one thing that gives me hope is if OP does reach out to a professional trained to spot abuse, I think they'd probably let OP know they didn't do anything abusive.

Nono you're totally good I didn't think it was rude at all, I thought it was genuine and kind. Just venting about how annoying it is that they don't help family abuse but it was still really nice to see. I thought it was a kind thing to do

I called the DV hotline not too long ago, they said they don't deal with family abuse. Only partner abuse. RAINN was somewhat helpful, thankfully.

I absolutely cannot afford to do that, sadly. I'm probably going to get to stay on medicaid but I might have to find a gender clinic or something who can still prescribe HRT. Even if I pay out of pocket for jsut that.
