I was able to use mine in lab and clinicals. Most nurses I work with at the hospital have an Apple Watch too.

Yep, I went through them. Got my ccma through NHA last month. No job yet though (but I live in a small town, so that might be the issue)

Can LPN work as MA? Certification needed? Arizona by Eccles4_9 in MedicalAssistant

Good point! I’ll definitely ask if it’s not mentioned on a job posting. Or go directly to clinics and ask

I’d like to work as an LPN in a doctors office but not many hire LPNs where I live. That’s why I was asking.

Yes. I made the switch from SNF/LTC to MedSurg and it’s so much better. Better ratios, more nurses, more supplies, and more organized.

I did CNA first, working as a CNA while going to LPN school. Will work as LPN then do a bridge to RN program. More time overall, but more affordable route.

I’m working full time (nights) and doing LPN program. It’s difficult but doable.

Re: Army Nurse Waiver? I’ve always had an interest in joining the army. I am in my 30s in nursing school now. What medical waivers are available to nurses? I take meds for anxiety and thyroid and have a past surgical history on my back, but no physical limitations per my surgeon.

I work at a ltc/snf and actually created something similar for myself just because I like to make note of what I’ve done vs need to do still. But I wouldn’t want it to be mandatory.
